Highly recommended, especially for short haired dogs
I highly recommend this product it is more ideally for short haired dogs as thatâs what we have and it worked amazingly. With it being a rubberized product itâs easier to grip and handle and water and soapy water as you donât lose grip of it also the clear plastic insert to help get the excess hair off the soap brush is a great additive to this product. I couldnât imagine how else to get the hair out of this soup brush without it the only downfall is trying to get the plastic piece back into the brush as you have to manipulate the rubber bristles to get in the holes of the plastic piece it only took me five minutes but some people I might take longer and a bit more patience. It gets right down to the scan to get the extra dander and dry skin off of the skin and out of the hair it also helps to get the loose hair off so you donât have to deal with it afterwards when drying your pet. It helps also when you rent your pet off and using the brush get the extra soap residue that might be remaining on the hair off to prevent the itching from it later. I would buy this product again and highly recommend it to others as it makes bathtime a lot more manageable when trying to get your pet thoroughly clean.

Firmer than expected
The Taeku Dog Bath Brush is a solid dog grooming brush made of rubber. The weight and thickness makes it easier to hold when wet and it has grips around the edges to prevent slipping. The bristles are way stiffer than the pictures in the listing make it seem. They do still bend but it does take considerable force to make them bend, leading to stiffer bristled brush. Not necessarily bad, but something to be aware of. This is not like the soft silicone scrubbers you can get for your shower. It has a plastic insert that sits on the bottom of the bristles and is a great way to remove the hair that it collects. I find it super easy to take on and off, almost to a fault. If you’re not supporting the plastic insert when you flip it upside down it will fall off. Once you’re using it, it’s fine. Just make sure you don’t drop it off before you start brushing. It does help to get a nice deep clean when soaping up your pup.

Great brush for Maltese puppy
Do you know how hard it is to find a cat brush without metal bristles? My breeder told me to get a plastic cat brush. No local pet stores had one. Well I purchased this brush in hopes he would like it. He does love it, he actually lays there and lets me brush him all over. I like the brush too, itâs very solid, great feel in the hand, you donât need a handle for it to keep a hold of it. The sides have raised bumps for extra grip. Nice color too. The fact that my dog loved it too was proof it was the perfect choice.

Very heavy and hard.
I bought this brush thinking it could replace the furbliss rubber brush. It didn’t. It’s hard and heavy, and it doesn’t really takes a lot of fur out of the dog. It’s better to spend a little bit more on the furbliss than buying a brush that doesn’t rlly work. Returning it

Useful Purchase
Was just telling someone yesterday, I was so glad I got this brush. I have a small Yorkie who has an infection causing her to need a bath every three days. This brush has insured that I was getting the soap through her hair down to her skin where it needed to be. It is for horses and dogs… I can see where it would be useful for people to use this… so glad I bought it!

Safe brush for dogs
This brush works great on our 45-pound dog, who has to take frequent baths with gentle shampoo because she is prone to allergies/skin irritation. I don’t like using the bladed alternatives; while they effectively remove loose hair and help keep her coat clean and tiny, I am always nervous her skin will be scraped or nicked because those blades can be sharp. This brush is made of rubber so that’s not a concern, thankfully. The unique design has grooves that help collect loose fur. It works reasonably well for my dog, although it’s slightly rigid and I would not use this on my cats. The cost is really affordable; this item offers a good value for the very low price. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a safe, effective grooming product that can be used while bathing your furbaby.

Hard to hold
I was surprised how heavy this brush is. Itâs very solid, which isnât a bad thing because it makes it durable. I felt like it worked best on my blue heeler than my German shepherd. The size is good but I found it hard and uncomfortable to hold. Maybe my hand is too small for it. It caused me to have a cramp after I finished using it on my dogs. I have yet to try it on my cat but seems like it would be too heavy and hard to use on her. She is much smaller so donât know how that would work.
