Works !!
Worth the money for its size, and will last for a good amount of time if you have a small enough tank. My betta loved it and immediately improved the ph level.

Great For Hard Water
This is my absolute go to for conditioning my water for my fish. I have very hard water where I live and I believe this has made it possible to use my water to fill my tank. My fish are thriving after I started using this conditioner and before I was using it they were slow and lethargic. I believe that this removes all the hard chemicals and stuff that is bad for fish. I wouldnât even drink the water so my fish will not be swimming around in it 24/7 until I have officially treated it with this water conditioner.I will definitely continue to use this for my fishes in the future

It Conditions
I use purified water to clean my betta’s tanks (I highly recommend this as it removes any harmful chemicals, iron, mercury, feces etc. that you find in tap water) and it has kept my bettas very healthy. As long as you keep up with the cleanings or water transfers your betta should remain healthy. That being said, I always pour in a bit of BettaSafe water conditioner or some other water conditioner as well as a PH balancing tablet to keep the water just right. I can’t say whether or not this conditioner is doing a great job or not because of all of the other things I do with the water, but my Betta seems to calm down when it is put in due to the extra electrolytes. The overall effect of the BettaSafe water conditioner is this, it doesn’t hurt my Betta, which is good. Have I seen any huge improvement? No, but it’s hard to measure such a thing. If you don’t have a conditioner then you need to pick one up. A betta will not live very long in normal tap water without some sort of PH balance or water conditioner. Be a responsible pet owner, Betta’s are not ornaments or decorations, they are your friends and they all have individual personalities so take care of them as you would a cat or a dog.

When setting up a new tank, many factors come into play.. this water conditioner seems to be the only I notice a difference with.. wish I could get a bigger bottle though.

Excellent water condition. You may want to use extra if you have hard water.
I have one happy and healthy betta and he has lived with Tetra’s Betta water conditioner his whole life. Actually, he’s starting to look a tad plump. His water conditions have been very different. He is widely traveled in his 1 gal. tank. He’s gone from OK water, to excellent water and now finally to bad water. He has no filter, no air pump, no heater. Just weekly 100% water change, California climate and this water conditioner. The local water has waaay to much mineral content, some not so good for you, me or Mr. Fishie.I tried using filtered water but I suspect the PUR filter takes out too much. I was using 50/50 filtered and straight tap. Fish do need some minerals in the water. This worked but was to fussy. So I run the water like crazy to get the lead out because it’s an old building. Then I add 7 drops to the water pitcher and let that sit for 1-2 days. Two days is better to get the water temp equal. Then before I pour the water into the clean aquarium, I add 7 more drops because there is a lot of stuff in the water. The chemicals in the water conditioner bind the bad stuff but it doesn’t lock it down forever. I want some fresh conditioner that will last the week. This part is weird, I usually pour in the fresh tank water from a height of about 3 ft above the tank. Water will degass if held for a few days and I want some oxygen back in there.Ever since I doubled the amount of water conditioner and started oxygenating his fresh water, he’s stopped laying at the bottom of the tank gasping. He goes in and started swimming around lazily. Then he looks at me cuz he knows he’s supposed to get fed now.

Easy to use
I got a 1 gallon tetra beta tank. And I put 4 drops of this in the water 24hours prior to bringing my beta home. This removes chlorine and other bad things in tap water that may make the fishes gills burn and for them to gasp a lot. It’s a great thing to have because you just put 4 drops in when you completely clean out the tank and put your fish In again. So you will use this again when you clean the entire tank.

Its good! Im a first time fish owner, although I’ve had him for about a year and a half now. This is my second time using this. Its super easy to measure out how much you need. My fish hasn’t had any health problems at all, swims very happily in his aquarium!
