Works well with some minor adjustments
This works well since I needed solid and non-ingestible substrate that is easy to clean for the large 4x2x2ft enclosure I just got for my young bearded dragon whoâs almost a foot long now and will grow a lot more later on. It was easy to find a carpet the perfect size for the baby 40 gallon breeder I used to keep my baby when I got him, but back then he was as big as my thumb back then and it was time for an upgrade. So after a while of keeping my boy in his bigger house on paper towels, I bought this to replace that and be reusable and less paper waste. Had to cut away about two inches off the length and an inch off the width to fit it, but it was no big deal; and I havenât noticed any fraying or other issues after cutting to size. Also I had to turn my iron on low setting to press it flat since the folds from packing it down to ship made it bumpy and bent, and it needs to be flat to work correctly. Overall good and it should last a long while and provide good value for the price since he only poops twice a day or so and his pee is solid and the environment is bone dry like a beardie loves.

PROS;-large enough to cover entire bottom of 60gal tank-easy to clean, throw in washer on gentle settings, or blast it in the driveway with a hose-double pack lets you rotate to always keep your herps clean and happy-color is a lovely emerald-two different textures on each side – fluffy but tatter-able on one, less soft but smoother and hardier on the other.CONS;-has to be cut to size ; NOT a bad thing, just a little work-soft side seems like it could cause loose particulates, cannot confirm but refuse to chance it-strong odor upon arrivalMY LIFE STORY;I have a special needs Bearded Dragon, he absolutely cannot have any loose particles, sharp edges, hard falls, basically I have to treat him like a Bubble Boy. I used flooring like this in the past for other kinds of reptiles and itâs always worked well for me. Although this one it a little weird with the dual textures, I like it. I keep mine smooth side up which gives my boy great traction and I donât have to worry about the soft side getting torn up. My boy gets very active during summer and can sometimes run paces for hours (even if heâs brought out, fed, bathed, cooled, doesnât matter, he got da fury and he gotta RUN) so I needed a flooring that is sturdy enough.

Great Product
Fit perfect for my 24 x 24 in cage bottom. I had to cut it in half but now I have and extra piece for my cage if I need to replace it. Very happy easy cleanup. 🙂

Great carpet, with work
This carpet was a great value for how much of it you get. I was able to cut out 2 carpets to fit a 40 gallon bearded dragon tank.It comes folded and a bit wrinkled. It does not lie completely flat without putting in a little work though. I washed, dried, cut, and ironed this carpet before the fabric behaved and fit like I wanted it to.Overall: it gets the job done, but it needs a little extra work from you to be flawless.

A good option for reptile bedding
The product is washable and thick enough to last, plus you get two! The green color adds a nice accent to my reptile cage.

Easy to use, but teeth can get caught
Overall a good product. Easy to clean, doesnât smell. Only issue is that sometimes my leopard gecko will bite at the mat as it grabs his prey causing his teeth to get stuck for a couple seconds in the fibers. Nothing bad happens, but this can occur. He quickly gets out. If you are concerned about that, I would look else where. I might upgrade to something different.

Perfect for my bearded dragon.
This item fits in his tank great. I’m not sure how long it will take him to get used to the “texture” of the mats but so far so good. I ordered several because when one gets dirty I can take it outside and wash it while I put the clean one in. I do not want to put a lot of humidity in his tank so I suggest 2.

Mat for crate
I use this for my sulcata tortoise. On cold nights, I bring her inside. This is in her crate, over her warming mat. Not sure how it washes up. The price is so fair I just buy new ones when she has an accident.

This is not reptile carpet. It’s a bit of a tougher version of felt. It has a harder backing but is by no means reptile carpet. Returning and not reordering. Not impressed!!

It was delivered on time, opened it up and put a heavy item on it to flatten it out. To get it flatter I ironed it on low. Turned out well.

Unfortunately I purchased this before complety researching what is best for my Gecko. This not safe for numerous reasons ex. claws can get caught, harbours bacteria because it cannot be properly cleaned. Since the return cost is half the price of product it will most likely be used as felt for arts and crafts. Hope someone canearn from my mistake
