Best for Newborn Fry & Nano Fish
My Normanâs Lampeye Killifish hatched 2-4 eyelash-sized fry per day, over several days. The first 1/3 of the batch probably had the benefit of tank mulm & micro fauna, but when I realized they were in the tank, I began moving them all to a clean fry tank with only a bit of moss & floating plant. The tiniest fry ate spirulina powder, but only the few larger fry were eating other brands of fry foods and frozen baby brine shrimp. I noticed much more growth in the larger fry, but less so for the tiniest fry, and no noticeable âchubby bellyâ after feedings. This Tiny Fry Powder is about the same grain as the spirulina. With just a light tap out of the bottle top, it hangs in the water as a cloud. They love it! I fed them after the others had eaten, so the tiny ones were left unbothered to eat their fill. Note: I have small fish in other tanks, Iâm not sure they even notice the food is in their tank.

ALL TIME FAVORITE FRY FOOD!
This stuff was my savior when raising egg scattering fish fry. My 1 hour old danios were almost left foodless after all of my infusoria cultures failed to produce. I had been recommended sera micron but it was not able to be delivered for at least another 5 days and I needed food for them immediately. This stuff was available ASAP and it did not disappoint. It safely raised up my baby danios until they could accept baby brine shrimp. I am forever indebted to aquatic provisions for this stuff. I wish I could give it a million stars. I mixed mine with some water and applied it directly to the areas with freshly hatched fry using a pipette and it worked great. This food is extremely tiny and it will cause a bit of a mess if you are needing to use it at scale so do be prepared for that.

Great product but if you have egg layer fry you may need something smaller
This food is decent if you have fry. Reason for the 4 stars is I still had to buy other food for my cod danios. This will feed guppy or live bearer fry no problem and it will even feed small danio or rasbora fry. Problem is, is half of it is too big for danios or rasboras fry so while it will feed em you end up wasting a lot off food and fouling the water way quick. So if you have live bearer fry go ahead and buy it if not use the golden pearls from aquatic foods 5-50 micro size here on Amazon. This food is more like 60-150 micron. All in all I would buy this and the golden pearls if you have fry from both eggs and live birth. Nothing beats live brine shrimp but when you donât have em these 2 foods will work. Also for both foods so you donât over feed I use a small paint brush dip it in the food tap ones on the inside of food container to knock larger pieces off the use my finger to rub the bristles above the water and it flings a nice powder into the water.

Works great for Angel Fish Fry.
This powder has allowed me to grow out fry from ess or live bearers from day 1. I grind it for the first few days but not sure that’s needed but only takes a second. The fry grow nicely until other larger foods can be eaten.I also use this when a grown fish (Up to 2-3 inches long) develops an issue or for new fish as they love the smaller size to get them eating. The smell must be good to the fish as they come running very quickly.

Babies are happy
My baby guppies love this food and it is perfect for them when they are so tiny. I always worry about making sure the food is small enough and this ensures that are able to eat it. Their growth has been exponentially since I started feeding this as well so it is definitely a great quality fish food.
