I tried giving this to our box turtle, but she is just coming out of hibernation and is still fairly lethargic and not eating much of anything. Having said that, this seems like a high quality product and it looks exactly as described; little freeze dried hunks of four different types of meat. Iâm sure she will go for it later on in the spring.It says itâs fit for human consumption but Iâm not dedicated enough to this review to have confirmed that.The price is currently $15.99 (with an available 5% coupon). Although Iâm sure you could probably get a greater amount of meat for the same price if you bought it on your own, it saves you the time and hassle of cutting it up and storing it. Plus, itâs four different types of meat, is freeze dried (so should last a long time), and is delivered free to your home so I think the price is appropriate for the value of the product. Highly Recommended!

My turtles love love â¤ï¸ this !
This is the 5th order of this 4 in 1 turtle food. I have 2 painted turtles, a red ear slider and an African side neck turtle. Every one of them prefer this food over every other type I’ve offered them including krill, crickets, floating food sticks or chunks, or anything else. Now don’t get me wrong, they will eat the other items but if I put several types in the tanks, they go straight for this food and ignore the other choices. I have been feeding my turtles this 4 in 1 meat to my heroes in a half shell for a year now, and they have grown very quickly from little hatchings to 5″ or longer in just a year and I credit the fast growth to this high quality food. It’s top notch quality, a great protein sorce and it doesn’t cloud up the water in your tank. If you want a high quality food that’s high in protein and a sure fire hit with your little friends, don’t passover this, I highly recommend buying this product.

Puurfection!
These treats are puurfect size! You can feed dry or hydrate them in water. The flavors are single meat ingredients and freeze dried, making them a healthy protein treat for your babies! They love munching down on them and I’m sure they would happily eat the entire container in one sitting! Overall, we are quite happy and highly recommend this brand!

I actually ordered these chicken/salmon/cod/duck treats not for turtles, but for our cats (that was one of the animals in the recommended use list). We do sometimes feed the turtles at our local bayou, so we may use them for that purpose as well.We have other freeze dried meat treats, but the chunks are really large, which means we end up needing to break them up into manageable pieces to give our cats. These turtle treats are great! The chunks are a wonderful small size, just right to give a cat a few times a day. I appreciate that they are simply freeze dried meat, no other ingredients, since that’s our preferred type of cat treats.So far, our kitties love them! Recommended.

This freeze-dried meat medley is a perfect on-the-go treat for dogs. The meats are the only ingredients; no added ingredients to worry about. The chunks hold their form well, with no crumbs to speak of.My only caution is that I would like to know if the manufacturer used high pressure processing to reduce risk of avian flu. I looked for the company’s website but it is currently down. Freeze-drying is a process used to preserve the virus so I wouldn’t trust it on its own. I will freeze these treats for a couple of weeks to be on the safe side.Okay, I do have an additional caution – the product description says: “Fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, our turtle food ensures your turtle receives a balanced diet.” This contradicts the ingredients list. The product looks like pure freeze-dried meat so I am hopeful there is nothing in it that dogs can’t have. Dogs are listed among the breed recommendations (should be species recommendations) in the product listing.Arrived March 2025 with expiration of August 2026 so plenty of shelf life.

Really high level turtle food. Best to soak first but can add to tank dry. Begins to rehydrate fast, so don’t have to always soak first if running out of time.Easy to tell that they use real meat and fish. No filler just great freeze dried ingredients.
