[Plant-Friendly] Specifically designed for planted aquariums, this substrate promotes healthy root growth, allowing aquatic plants to thrive and contribute to the overall health of your aquarium ecosystem.
[Versatile Substrate] Our fish tank substrate is ideal to be used in various applications. It is suitable for large aquariums & small fish tanks. Setting up a vibrant planted aquarium or an aquascape is a breeze with our substrate for fish tanks.
[Fine-grained Substrate] Our fine-grained Mojave sand is a mixture of richer colors, producing a warmer tone. This fish tank substrate also works in blackwater aquariums, biotopes or planted tanks that feature Dragon Stone or aquarium driftwood.
[Pristine and Ready to Use] Our sand for the aquarium is ready to be placed in your fish aquarium, but we recommend rinsing it before use to remove any finer grains. This step helps maintain water clarity and prevents cloudiness in your fish aquarium.
[For Bottom-Dwelling Species & Live Shrimp] Our sand’s grain size (0.4 to 0.9mm) is a great choice for aquariums housing bottom-dwelling species & live shrimp. Our substrate allows your live shrimp to enjoy sifting through the sand.

Great Quality
I love this sand!! This is my first scape and I was very specific with what I had in mind. This sand is exactly what I wanted, a very natural earthy look paired with some red petrified wood. I have a 10 gallon rimless tank and the 3L bag covered it perfectly I have a little bit left over. I used a different substrate (fluval) to go inside the two cliffs to save sand. I didnât rinse the sand and when I filled the tank it didnât go everywhere or get cloudy at all. Itâs super easy to move around.

Love it
I bought this for my shrimp bowl aquarium and love the look of it. It is easy to vacuum without losing the sand. It does get stirred up when adding new water but settles quickly. I wish I washed it better the first time as it took a few days to for the water to clear up. It was easy to put some plants and most have grown and done well. I would definitely buy it again

so pretty
High quality rock. I love this company. I’ll never use anything else. I love all their products.

Great sand. No rinsing required!
I was hesitant about the claim that this sand does not need rincing but it is true. The sand gave off zero dust or discoloration to my aquarium. Comes in a variety of colors and grain sizes. I am now using it in two of my aquariums. Highly recommend!

Great Substrate
This is probably my favorite substrate right now. Has a very nice rich brownish with hints of red. Pairs well with all kinds of wood and rocks. Like using this with Sante Fe especially

Horrible. Impossible to have clear water.
Besides the plastic ring, painted broken porcelain and snail shells in this bag. Rinsed rock gently but always a light brown tinge to water. Put in bowl, added water, cloudy brown water. Left 24 hours to settle, only slightly less cloudy. Added filter, only minutely cloudy but as soon as any rock moved, very cloudy. Took all rock out, WASHED with jetted water and swirling motion. Non-stop brown cloudy water. Some kind of soft rock that dissolves when agitated in the least in this mix. Would never buy again. Going to buy polished rocks, then I know I can rinse and rocks will be clean. Total waste of money. Zero Stars.

Good sand
It’s a good sand. Granule size on the smaller size and the sand needs a couple of rinses. Color of the sand is as advertised, dark burgundy red giving your tank a very earthy tone.
