Great potty training
We got a puppy and we were wanting to potty train him really quickly and I think that these were super awesome. He knows when he rings the bells that heâs going to be able to go outside.
One of the biggest reasons we got this is because we were going to be moving less than a month after we got him. And it wasnât planned. We just happened to end up with a dog from somebody who wasnât able to care for him and so we really wanted him to know that when we moved that those bells would still signify, he could go outside and we didnât want him to just have to think that he didnât know where to go to the door. I definitely do think that it is helped him. I just donât think that it worked all the way, but you can never expect a puppy to be 100% at the time. They are super durable because he does like to bite them sometimes when heâs in a really crazy mood and I like that, they donât really take any damage. They are super super easy to use and like Iâm able to make them smaller, depending on the size of my door.

Bells work as expected.
The bells performed as expected. They are loud enough to hear but not overly annoying.
My dog however, never caught onto the process.
He figured out that if I said we were going outside that it was also time to clobber the bells on the way out of the door, but never was able to associate that he needed to be the initiator and ring the bells when he needed to go potty.
Regardless, the bells were fine. The workmanship and quality were excellent and the lack of my dogs ability to understand the process was no fault of the product.

Awesome for dog training.
Weâve purchased these to hang on our sliders in our room and family room. They worked great, but almost too good, now the dog just goes and hits the bells, but not necessarily has to go outside. They have kind of become a toy. They are very easy to set up and can be used on pretty much any door, including the taller doors, we have extremely high ceilings with very tall sliders.

Easy for dogs to catch on!
I am so impressed with these puppy bells! We got these for our 4-month-old puppy to help with potty training, and I’m thrilled with how quickly she caught on.
Within just a few days of hanging these bells on the door, our puppy learned to ring them when she needs to go outside. The design is simple yet effective â the bells are loud enough to hear throughout the house without being overwhelming. They’re also well-made and sturdy, so I’m confident they’ll hold up to daily use.
Now, our puppy uses the bells consistently to signal when she needs to go out potty… or go chase birds. I would highly recommend these Puppy Bells to anyone looking for an effective and user-friendly tool to aid in potty training their dog. They’ve certainly made a positive difference in our household!

Great for potty training pups!
This comes in handy as a busy homeschool mom with a 7month old puppy. It latches well to just about any door handle and you can hear the bells from all over the house when she lets us know she has to go out. Works so well!

They may harm your dog.
They seem well made but after a couple weeks my dog caught his toenail in the slot in the bell and caused severe pain and some damage before I could get him loose.

Life-Saver Alert: Five Stars for These Dog Door Bells!
I can’t rave enough about these dog door bells! As a new owner of an 8-week-old Saint Bernard puppy, potty training seemed like a daunting task. But fast forward several months later, and these door bells have been an absolute godsend. Installation was a breeze, within seconds they were up and ready to go. And let me tell you, they’ve endured the playful antics of my growing Saint Bernard with ease. The quality is top-notch, ensuring they’ve held up through daily use and puppy enthusiasm. What truly sets these bells apart is their effectiveness in training. From the get-go, my puppy took to them like a pro. It’s remarkable to see how quickly she grasped the concept of ringing the bells to signal her need to go outside. Now, at four months old, she confidently alerts me whenever nature calls. These bells have transformed the potty training experience from a potential headache into a seamless routine. No more guessing games or accidents to clean up. Instead, I have a puppy who knows exactly how to communicate her needs. If you’re in the midst of potty training, especially with a breed as sizable as a Saint Bernard, these door bells are an absolute must-have. They’ve been a game-changer for us, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. I bought 2, one for the front door and one for the back!

Love them. Even decorative, 12 months a year not just Christmas!!!
Younger dog will ring bells to be âlet outsideâ. Instead we would get up to let the outside dog inside instead. And the younger dog would steal the couch!!!

Love these bells. Only took a couple of times for my older dog to get it. When we got our golden retriever puppy, we didnât even teach her as she started doing it right away from watching my older dog do it

I was very impressed by the reviews these bells got from other purchasers. One person even said that she was able to train her PUPPY in just a few days. Well, let me tell you, my 3 and 5-year-old Shuz Tzus are not that co-operative!! It took me three months of solid persistence every time they wanted to go out to finally get them to use the bells.
Now my dogs are not dumb but man they did not want to use those bells. I think they don’t like the sound of them. Now they use them but very, very gently. It seems like they have figured out that this way they make less noise. Now put that against the racket they make barking when they are excited. I surely like the bells a lot better.
Anyways, this is not the product’s fault. The bells are well made and to me anyways, they sound great. Would highly recommend them to anyone – anyone other than a Shiz Tzu owner!!

The bells donât hang down low enough for my Pomeranian to reach them. I just got them, maybe she will learn to jump up to ring themâ¦..
