Easy to install and locking feature works
This was pretty easy to install. The locking features are very nice and do work. We had the cats downstairs for us to paint upstairs and they tried to break down the door for a while but it stayed locked. Also has magnetic edges so it doesnât swing around for long. Great value for money.

Good quality, but one screw hole was stripped, I drilled a hole next to it, works fine. Cat was very suspicious of her new door, but is adapting fine.

Weak Adhesive on the Door Trim!
The installation was fairly straight forward. Although, I think there is a language barrier with the instructions suggesting that a CHAINSAW be used to cut the hole in the door! A chainsaw? No, it takes a saber saw or like tool.The adhesive that is used for the trim fringe is pretty weak and the precision of the alignment on the swinging window is pretty sloppy. It has begun to come loose, and it has only been a month. I will need to remove it and seal the ends with some fast setting glue, hoping that will extend its life.The magnet that stabilizes the door after opening and swinging repositions the little window accurately.

Difficult locking mechanism
I wouldn’t buy again as the locking mechanism stinks. First one I had to return as it was defective. I had paid $150 to handyman to install and after it was in it would lock! Had to order another one and he had to come back and switch it out. This one is just tricky to lock where I want it. Have to make do with it now as it’s in and cost me $150 installation. Definitely don’t recommend.
