I FOUND THAT THIS PRODUCT WORKED REALLY WELL. WE HAVE A FEMALE CAT THAT IS A LITTLE HIGH STRUNG. SHE TENDS TO BE REALLY SENSITIVE WHEN IT COMES TO ANY KIND OF CHANGE. SHE WILL OVER GROOM AND LOSE HAIR AND ALSO DEVELOPE SORES ON HER SKIN. WE PURCHASED THIS AND OVER NIGHT HER VERY INFLAMMED SKIN WENT FROM BRIGHT PINK TO NORMAL! SHE HAS SOME SCRATCHES FROM WHERE SHE HAD BEEN CLAWING AT HER SKIN THAT WERE STILL A LITTLE RED BUT EVEN THOSE AREAS LOOKED AT LEAST 50% BETTER WITH JUST ONE USE. SO I WOULD SAY THAT THIS DEFINITELY WILL SOOTHE THE AFFECTED AREA QUICKLY. THE SPRAY MAKES IT REALLY EASY TO USE. THE VALUE IS GREAT FOR HOW WELL IT WORKS. THIS WAS OUR LAST RESORT BEFORE TAKING HER TO THE VET. IF SHE HADN’T ALREADY HAD A HISTORY OF ALWAYS HAVING THESE ISSUES THEN WE WOULD HAVE…BUT WE KNEW THAT IT WAS MORE THAN LIKELY JUST SOMETHING THAT COULD BE FIXED WITH SOME TOPICAL MEDICATION.IT DOESN’T TAKE MUCH SO THE SIZE AND AMOUNT THAT YOU GET IS WORTH IT. THE FIRST NIGHT WE DID SEVERAL SPRAYS, SATURATING THE AREA BUT AFTER THAT WE ONLY NEEDED A COUPLE OF SPRAYS TO THE AREA TO CONTINUE TREATMENT.

Really helpful for our cat!
Our cat had the base of his tail shaved at the emergency vet, and he seemed to suffer from razor burn when he came home. He was chewing it raw, it was red and swollen and the skin was not quite bleeding but rubbed totally raw, like a bad rugburn. We put him in a cone, but it wasn’t getting any better and he was becoming distressed from the cone and the wound. We ordered this wound care spray, and he improved instantly! We couldn’t believe how quickly it worked. He was out of his cone in 3 days after we started applying this. He went from a wound, to a scab, to completely healed with no scab in 3 days. We applied the spray 3-4 times a day, as directed. We dabbed it on a cotton ball and gently cleaned his tail because he’s afraid of spray noises/sensations. Worked like a charm. This stuff is a life saver!

A long rambling review…..but in a nutshell I like this product!
(**This is a long and rambling review all to say that I would recommend this product. Maybe I am still traumatized. )I was gifted a kitten by my son for my birthday. Unfortunately, our family dog has bitten him twice (either because of jealousy or territory), and for some odd reason, he still loves him, and wants to play. No fear. I, on the other hand, am traumatized, leery even but have hope that they eventually find a happy medium. I am more vigilant now. And hope they understand that I have enough love for them both. After all, it has to be hard being the only baby in the house for 5 years, and now have to share that attention with a another cute little fellow. Regardless, these incidents have meant expensive emergency vet visits, and wounds, they have healed or are in the process of healing. And until my little one gets older, I am keeping a close eye on them and when they are not supervised, they are separated. So please no criticism. Now back to the product review. After taking him to the vet for pain meds and antibiotics, I still looked for something to soothe his wounds. I found Vetericyn (Wound Care) on Amazon. It can be used for healing wounds and skin repair or irritation. This product has done a great job. The solution is clear and odorless. His injuries seem to be healing with very little scarring. I’m finding kittens are resilient and hardy – not that I want him to be bitten again. This antimicrobial comes in a spray bottle, but I usually place the product on a cotton ball or swab and apply, since his wounds are in his face. This container holds 3 ounces. Making him comfortable as he heals is important and I expect him to be all healed in no time, with (hopefully) no lasting effects. So far, so good.
