WORKS WITHIN ONE USE!
We have two pups – almost 2 year old Retriever-mix named Penelope that we adopted about 6 months ago & almost 5 year old Shih Tzu named Teddy. Teddy’s never had breath issues, but he HATES his teeth being cleaned. He will sit still for me to clean his face but he REFUSES to let me near his teeth, so I’ve never really gotten into the habit of brushing. Now Penelope has had HORRIBLE breath from the day we got her and of course when her anal glands are acting up, it’s even worse, as you can imagine. I usually don’t even like her getting into my face and giving me kisses because of her stinky fish breath. We just ordered this and so far have only given it to the pups ONCE during their breakfast, and Penelope’s breath is already better!!! I can actually love on and kiss my little girl!!!! I’m so excited. 1000 STARS!

I have three cats with differing health needs. The one I originally bought it for would develop plaque on his teeth pretty quickly and needed cleanings almost yearly. This product has kept his teeth clean so well I haven’t has to schedule a cleaning for him in two years! Another cat had pretty healthy teeth and gums for almost 8 years. His diet is mostly wet food for urinary issues. It caught up to him a year ago with plaque starting to develop. The vet wanted to schedule a cleaning soon. I decided to try the powder with him. With his health issues, our vet and I am leery to change his diet. But I decided to slowly add the powder and cross my fingers we wouldn’t have to go through another UTI. Six months later, we took this cat in for a checkup and his teeth were clean and his good health is maintaining. Out third cat is somewhat feral. She adopted us and our workshop after a close call with a hawk. She doesn’t like being handled much so getting her to a vet has not been possible. She’s also been getting the perio powder, but since I can’t handle her, its hard to say how her teeth are. My fingers are crossed that this product is having the same benefit for her as my other cats. All the cats have no problem eating their food with the powder mixed in, until there’s about a quarter of the bottle left. Then they start to refuse their food. In one way, I’m losing money when I have to throw out almost a quarter of the jar, but gaining with no vet bills for teeth cleaning. I’ve thought about changing to a different brand if I could find one in a smaller bottle, but then I have no idea if another brand will work as well as this one. So I am staying with this brand, but I do wish I could figure out a way to keep the last of the powder fresh enough for them to finish it.

It really works!
We got a 7.5 year old dog from a family member. He had severe plaque, probably had never had his teeth cleaned. I didn’t expect much. I sprinkle this on his food, along with salmon oil, and he gobbles it up. Its been 20 days and the tarter is almost completely gone! His breath is so much better also. I still plan to have his teeth cleaned professionally in a couple of weeks, but this will help extend the time between cleanings, saving tons of money.

Amazon doesnât stand by their Prime guarantee
I have purchased this many times and have been happy. My last order showed up defective as it was hard and clumped together. I requested a replacement as it was a Prime purchase and have had nothing but trouble. Have called customer service twice and they said it would be replaced but that it was back ordered- I checked and it is not. I donât understand why Amazon is refusing to replace a product that is potentially dangerous to my pet- have never had an issue like this before but the product clearly says free returns on Prime and they are not honoring it- I canât waste any more time on this but will not have any faith in the PRIME guarantee in the future

Effective? Can’t Tell
My vet recommended this and sends me home with a bottle each time I have my dog’s teeth cleaned. I’m not sure if it does anything because I end up having to have my dog’s teeth cleaned every year at over $1500 each time. I ordered this since I ran out of the stuff that the vet gave me. This might be my last order because I discovered something called Oravet chews that seem to do a better job. Time will tell.

Works great!My chihuahuas almost 16 and heâs had bad teeth and gumsâ¦.Also has knock out gas breath lol (Kisses are not a problem..Today people wonât drop dead or run if kissed by him ððð). My best friend means allot and he loves these things very much! Pretty picky with other dog treats, but he really loves these thank goodness ð¦´ð¥³ðGot him this because I canât afford the vet cost at the momentâ¦and donât want to take out a bank loan lol.Only complaint is I wish the cost didnât fluctuate, especially after I purchased it. Itâs gone up 10 bucks since I purchased it, so hopefully it doesnât go up more. ðHope the price goes down soon, however my little dude is small and doesnât need a big dose thankfully. Sooner pay for this then the vet cost any day regardless.Happy to find this product, itâs definitely worth the cost as it works well within a few days or less. Plaque is seriously visibly reduced dramatically..his gum bleeding has pretty much disappeared also.

Good but expensive, would buy it regularly if it was cheaper. My cat actually has to chew these instead of just swallowing it whole. He didn’t like them at first but came around and liked them after a week or 2.

I love this product. I read somewhere that it helps stop the tear stains in white dogs so as I have a Maltese, I decided to try it. I think it works by killing the bacteria that causes the staining. It worked very well and I sent for more. Highly recommended.
