Application Steps: (We recommend 2 People’s Work)
1.Correct size is important. Take one of the nail caps out and try it on your cat’s claws without the glue to ensure a proper snug fit.

2.Trim cat claws to the same length with that of the nail caps. If the nail cap is too large, you may trim the open end of the nail cap until it fits. (Note: Do not trim kittens claws before applying nail caps. You will need a sufficient claw surface for the glue to adhere properly.

3.Fill each nail cap a little glue, only glue in a part of the nail (about 1/3, never fill to too full to prevent overflow of the adhesive), Wait the adhesive is half-dried in the nail cap. (Please be careful and avoid dropping glue on your hands or your cat’s fur, if you do, remove it with use nail varnish remover or dispergator.)

4.Grasp the claws of your cat, slightly push aside the fur around the nail and expose the nail. Put the nail caps onto the claw and make sure they are completely wrapped. Wait until the adhesive is dry and continue with the next nail.

5.Observe your cat at least 5min to make sure nail caps are secure, then you have completed, We suggest you to distract your cat or feed his or her favorite food immediately after applying all nail caps.

Notes:
1.Most cats will like their new caps, but some cats will reject. Generally, after wearing for the first few times, they will get used to them and without any discomfort.

2.Different cats, different movement and location (such as cement, grass, floor, carpet) etc., different wear rate of the nail caps. Some wearing 3-5 days may wear out. Some can wear 1-2 months or even longer.

3.Addition, the cat nails have scalability, we recommend you leave a little gap out when stick the nails, that cat nails have activity space.

Turn your cats nails from destructive to darling
My cat sept through applying these, took like 10 minutes, it was quick and easy. The colors are perfect and plenty of glue for reapply. My hands are starting to heal from the scratches due to these being soft and great quality. Great quality and value for the money.

    Pleasantly Surprised!
Okay let’s admit I was as skeptical as the next person about getting these nail caps but I was at wits end. I had purchased a new rug and my cats thought it was a huge new scratching pad for them. Every time I found carpet fibers pulled loose in spots my patience was growing shorter. I put out scratching posts. I bought couch covers and the corner sticker deterrents. I even tried the citrus juice spray tricks. Nothing worked. As I was sitting debating putting these on their claws the youngest decided he was going to have a go at my rug yet again. I thought I would need help but was surprisingly able to do it all by myself. I would get yourself a towel, paper towels, small pair of scissors, and some finger nails clippers. Once you open the package and decide on your color do a quick slip on test to check the fit for the size of your cats claw. Set out all 10 nail covers for the front paws only on the paper towel. Wrap the cat in the towel to protect yourself unless you have a little angel. Use the nail clippers to slightly trim the end of the cats nails. Don’t worry about taking much length off the nail. Cut the end off the glue adhesive as per the directions provided. You insert the tip of the adhesive into each nail cover as you go. I would do a light squeeze of the adhesive into the nail cover and then pinch each cover to make sure the insides were coated. If you press from the pad on the bottom of the cats paw and lightly on top of each knuckle their nail will fully extend nicely. Then it’s as simple as sliding the cap on and holding it for a minute. The adhesive dries quickly just don’t get it on your fingers or fur. I held my cats for a minute or two after applying to make sure everything stayed well. I will say my cats weren’t sure what to think of the caps at first and fixated on them a bit. I distracted them with some wet food and they were right as rain. The covers are a good thickness and durability. If you have hard wood floors you will hear them click as they walk. They hold up well to them clawing at a scratching post as well. Best of all my couch and rug have been safe so far. Only thing I would note is that if you have a very young kitten 8-9 weeks old, even the extra smalls are too big. Overall I am very happy with my purchase though!

They work well! Application tips for beginners
These nail caps really stick! They are great in that regard. But, a few tips for the beginners:1. If the nail caps are a bit large for your cat, trim the tips of the caps, not the base.2. To keep your cat as comfortable as possible, trim the caps as often as you would their nails. If they are too long, it will feel uncomfortable to walk around. It would be like wearing shoes that were smashing your toes back into your foot. This also aids in them popping off when they need to be changed.3. To remove them, carefully use human nail clippers to clip along the ridge of the cap until it becomes thin enough to split or creates a split. Then you can peel them off with little to no issue.4. MAKE SURE THE GLUE HAS TOTALLY SET BEFORE YOUR CAT GOES INTO THE LITTER BOX. If possible, keep them away from the litter box for 30 min. If they happen to step in their mess, the soiled litter will stick to the glue and irritate your cats paws. I learned this the hard way. Luckily, I noticed early enough that no medical attention was needed, but her pads swelled up and became very red. I took the caps off immediately and let her have about a week to tend to her claws. She has cleaned them and the swelling has disappeared. I plan on reapplying caps this weekend.5. Clip your cat’s nails before applying caps and make sure that any nail flakes are removed from around the nail before applying. If there are loose layers, they will get stuck in the glue and can apply uncomfortable pressure or poking on the skin at the base of the nail. It’s a little bit of a learning curve, but it’s worth it! My cats HATE the application process because they don’t like the sensation when I push the nail caps on, but I’m sure they will get used to it. They’ve already gotten better since the first time. But, these caps STICK. Our first set of caps lasted about 6ish weeks, possibly more.

Takes two of us to put the nail caps on but they work well and he doesn’t seem to mind them, and saves our furniture. Definitely worthwhile!

One of our cats likes to claw at our furniture. These work just as we hoped. He wasn’t too happy with me putting them on, but they glue on really quickly, so I didn’t get too badly scratched up. I only did his front paws. He still goes through the motion of scratching, but now he isn’t tearing up the material. I have noticed he scratches less now than he used to.These are sized well. Even for an adult cat, I found that after trimming the end of the nail slightly, they slid over the remaining nail easily, and the glue adhered very quickly. He hasn’t been able to get them off (although he sure tried the first couple of days)After two weeks, they are still all firmly attached. We aren’t sure how long they will need to stay on, but are monitoring our cat’s nails for growth and when it’s time to try and take them off for new ones.Great product 🙂

Package arrived with the claw covers but missing the glue and applicators. Very disappointed as I cannot use these without the glue and applicators.

We recently purchased a new living room set. The second it was set up our cat decided it were his scratching post. These were quite easy to put on our cat, but he is used to us touching his feet/trimming his nails. You should trim their nails firstt, then put glue in the nail cap and then place the cap on their nail. I hold it for a bit to ensure it has been placed properly and doesn’t slide. He’s had them on for a couple of weeks and none of the caps have fallen off. He’s tried to scratch the couch a few times, but once he realized he’s not getting the satisfaction of scratching, he’s stopped altogether, or he’s just scratching when we’re not around. All in all, I would say these are comparable to the brand name, but at a much cheaper price.
