Great food for fur babies
We have a 15 year old chihuahua and recently got a new heeler puppy, yes weâre crazy lol. The new puppy is of course always hungry due to how much energy she burns. Well we wanted to get her off to a healthier start and get our older chihuahua back to being more energetic, yes knowing he is an old man lol. We are now 6 months into this food topper, we mix with Wild Red (Red Meat Blend) and have noticed a significant change in both dogs. Coats are healthier, more energy, and overall healthier. We were feeding our puppy twice a day, once in AM and once at PM. When we switched over, a few days in, she wouldnât really eat in the morning. We changed to once at night and now she eats all of her food! Dogs need a high protein diet and high protein means being more full so we know itâs great food for both of them. Our senior dog gets excited about dinner now! Highly recommend with no nasty byproducts!

My dog absolutely loves the Vital Essentials Turkey Mini Nibs! As soon as I open the bag, he comes running like itâs the best thing heâs ever smelled. The freeze-dried texture makes it easy to serve, and I feel good knowing heâs getting a healthy, raw diet without the mess. Itâs a bit on the pricey side, but seeing how much he enjoys it (and how good he looks) makes it worth every penny. Mealtime is officially his favorite time of day!

DOG LOVES THIS AND KEEPS HER IN TIP TOP SHAPE
This food keeps my tiny 2.5 lbChihuahua in top shape. Since she is small, many foods will be a lot more calories than she needs and she will start getting a bit thick. It’s not good for their joints. She is always her delicate yet spunky diva self when she eats this food and in particular the Turkey. The other flavours have a bit more calories so I have to feed her a little less which she doesn’t like because she would eat the whole bag if she could. Trying the Rabbit flavour now as it comes in second in the calorie dept. But this batch is stinky. Sometimes the Turkey is stinky. I think it may be the seafood ingredient. This food is not full of fillers. She isn’t getting empty calories. Just the protein and amino acids every dog eats if they were living their best life and eating as nature would have it.

Love all things vital essentials!
Iâve been a vital essentials customer for close to 4 years now and Iâll continue to be for the foreseeable future! These are the perfect size for training and the quality of them is consistent. Our dogs love them and are happy to work for some treats! I like how minimal the ingredients are and the flavor options they have!
