Sturdy, Well Made, Great Fit/Finish and Size! Nice Grey Hammertone Finish. What More Could You Ask?
This is a great little cage for transporting your birds. It’s not big enough to transport a full sized Cockatoo or Macaw, but for smaller birds, it’s perfect. I have a Sun Conure and it’s just right for transport or to stay in for a few days at a friends if I need to go out of town. Very sturdy and easy to put together. I saw some reviews that stated parts didn’t line up and was hard to assemble. Not true for me. It even included an extra screw for each of the three types/sizes of screws included! (how many times have you been shorted on screws or parts for “put it together yourself” products. What a refreshing change!) Directions were clear and easy to follow, although the print was a bit small.
This cage would be easy to take down for storage and put back together as it uses “keyhole slots” for some of the screw installation. By taking out only the two screws that hold the top perch in place, you can take it apart for storage. Pretty slick! Don’t think that it’s held together by those two screws only, as the keyhole slots and the fit make it very stable and sturdy. It’s not super light, but still easy to carry. I’d probably put a screw in the ends of the wood perch to make it non-removeable by a skillful bird and to keep it from falling off while carrying or traveling as it just sits on metal tabs with slots in the end of the wood perch. (this was suggested by another reviewer and I agree)
On bird size and transport… One of the pics I saw included a miniaturized picture of a Blue and Gold Macaw in the cage…. Not Happening! You could transport a full sized Cockatoo if needed to another location or vet and that would work fine, but not to stay in, even for a night. A couple of conures, budgies, lovebirds, etc… would work fine in this cage for temporary use.

Sturdy cage. Perfect for a Amazon or African Grey size bird.
It is simple to put together and at first seems flimsy until it is assembled. Once it is assembled it holds together very sturdy. I really think we will love traveling with this new cage. I may even consider taking him out when I garden in it. I found this on sale because it was bought as a *good* previously purchased and returned cage with box damage only. The only qualm I had with it is the tray which is barely heavier than Styrofoam and was recieved cracked on one side. I can easily mend it or replace it so I am not taking off for the review. I thought the price was high but after shopping around this is the best cage for the price. The worst thing about this particular cage for me is the weight. It is heavy for me empty but I will manage. I am disabled. It would not be comfortable sitting in a lap but has its own place for a seat belt. I would not want to have to carry it very far even if I was healthy and able. If you need that, get a bag or a different cage. Previously I had a backpack but he ate through the zipper and grommets and mesh. I needed something Amazon parrot proof. This seems to be perfect!

Looking Forward to the day we can use it!
This cage is very well made. The look is nice and was very easy to put together. It is very sturdy too with a good weight so it won’t be easily knocked over. Good price! The only problem I have, and it’s not with the cage, is that we no longer have a bird to use it for. Our bird decided to fly out the door one nice day in December. It’s February now and we are still waiting for Mocha to return from her vacation, as my daughter says.

Nice cage, but has its faults. Not a deal breaker though.
Where do I start. Well, first let me say I actually do really like this cage, but there are some faults as well.
Pros
-it looks nice, my green cheek conure seems to like it, and seems pretty sturdy. It seems like it will be easy to clean. A nice size for travel or for a sleep cage. I think this cage will be perfect for when I travel for a few days to familyâs house and want to take my guy with me. I think it will also work well for outside to get some fresh air. I feel like itâs sturdy enough that the normal predators wouldnât be able to get to my bird.
Cons
Was a little difficult to put together, watching the videos did help-actually a must. The instructions that come with it are pretty difficult to follow and are incorrect on which bolts to put where. Also since I put the wrong bolt in first. I still havenât been able to get the wrong one out so that I can put the correct one in. On the side I got the correct one in, itâs still not wanting to screw all the way in. It is quite heavy, so I wouldnât say it would be convenient for a quick trip to the vet, but would work great if you were traveling and needed a cage for a few days. Obviously not large enough for long term use. I also own a parakeet/budgie, and I feel like the bar spacing and other gaps may be a little large for him even though itâs described as being for those little guys as well. The Vivo Home sign on the front was actually a hazard for us. While putting together I grabbed the door and actually cut my thumb pretty good on it. Glad I found it and not by bird. This was fixed easily enough with a file, but definitely check. It sliced me right open and I donât want to think of the damage it could have caused to my birds foot.
All in all, for the price, and what you get, I canât say Iâm unhappy, but these are things I would want to know prior to purchase. I would definitely buy again, and if the bar spacing and gaps werenât quite as big, I would be purchasing one for my parakeet as well, but since thatâs not the case, I will need to find an alternate solution for him.

Great travel cage
This cage, packaged flat, arrived promptly and in good shape. With clear instructions and extra screws I assembled it quickly and confidently. It fits easily in my car, worked well transporting an eclectus to the vet, and makes for a sturdy portable perch for the African grey in my life. I bought the cage to provide for safe and easy travel with the African grey. This purchase pleases me.

I recently purchased this cage to transport my budgie across the country, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! Not only did it serve as a safe and comfortable travel solution for my feathered friend during the journey, but it has also become his permanent home. I fitted it into the top half of a suitcase and put it on front seat. Kept cage stable and my car clean.
Key Features
One of the standout features of this cage is the large opening side door. It makes accessing my budgie incredibly easy, allowing for hassle-free cleaning and adjustments to toys and accessories. This thoughtful design detail has made caring for my bird a breeze.
Bird-Friendly Design
My budgie particularly loves the swing door! He often hangs out there, enjoying the view and engaging with his surroundings. Itâs heartwarming to see him so comfortable and happy in his new space.
Practical and User-Friendly
The top of the cage features a wooden perch that serves as a perfect landing spot after his flights around the house. Itâs sturdy and well-placed, allowing him to transition smoothly from flying to resting.
Easy Assembly
Assembling the cage was straightforward and quick.
Overall, this cage has exceeded my expectations in both functionality and design. I highly recommend it to any budgie owner looking for a versatile and user-friendly option for travel and everyday living.

This does everything I had hoped and is worth the price. I’m impressed with the quality. Assembly was easy. It’s a bit heavy but that’s a reflection of the heavier gauge materials used in it’s construction. One thing i don’t like is that it has 4 little legs that are not the best for putting on a car seat. It looks good sitting on a table though.

The picture looks way smaller but this cage is large and not something to travel with as itâs very heavy. But solid cage and looks great.
Lulu8 –
It’s quite easily put together once you get to the top part being bolted through. Which was the final and most difficult for myself because it was a tight fit, but completes the assembly. Most secure travel cage I’ve seen for a great price of $89.99 for my Senegal.

Perfect for summer travel with my baby. Very happy and super easy to put together
