This brush is a decent alternative to a slicker type brush. No pokey wire teeth, and still works great for line brushing prior to combing. My poodle/golden/lab retriever mix (aka double doodle) has curly crimp like fur with a mix of wirey fur & is prone to matting when not brushed properly. This brush helped to get the job done comfortably and a bit quicker than our slicker wired toothed brush. And unlike a slicker brush fit doesnât seem to cause damage to the ends of her fur. Itâs her Hanukkah gift. ð ð¾ð

Sturdy and long lasting
I like this brush because the handle is sturdy and curved. The bristles are great for getting tangles out and it’s easy to wash with a sprayer hose nozzle. I would recommend, yes!
