Wonderful brush
My OTTB enjoyed this brush. It pulled dirt, old hair and was flexible enough to get the itchy places.

Works extremely well – no discomfort to the horse
I have a horse with sensitive skin who absolutely hates being brushed. It’s difficult to curry using a metal bladed brush on any horse. This brush removes all of the discomfort associated with using a metal curry while doing a great job in knocking off dirt/mud and sweat just like a metal curry. I am finding that the brush also seems to soothe and shines the coat, apparently by disseminating natural hair oil. I am using the brush on all of my horses and find that it does a good job. My only critique is that the brush could be a tad larger,… although that might effect the use and ability to work so well if it were too bulky.

Surprisingly great
I was looking for a brush to groom my sensitive mare. I didn’t want metal but I needed something sturdy enough for mud and what I refer to as “crunchy” hair. This brush does the job and is still soft enough for the face. I even had a barn hand tell me how nice my horse is looking after I used it!

Works good
This works good for my short haired cur dog.

Pretty brush, does not release hair or dirt
This curry is a bit overly stiff, which would be unpleasant for some horses mine included, and the tines are too long/ sticky. They trap the hair in deep which makes it difficult to clean out. Usual method of tapping to release the built up hair waffle did nothing and eventually needed to gently pull a hoofpick through to release the mat. Never did manage to get it clean without a bucket of water, which is a bit annoying considering this brush is for shedding and getting mud off.
Also found it too light in my hand. I like a good heavy brush, and while it has a very wide back, perhaps too large for small hands, it just did not feel great to hold. The old Oster brushes are way more comfortable.

Good brush but hard to clean
In all fairness, my horse is a Curly, so her hair is a bit more difficult during sheâd season because the curls donât react as well to regular curry combs. That caveat aside, I think this is a good curry/brush, but the /bristles are a bit close together and inflexible to allow for easy cleaning and, therefore, easy use. I like the shape although I expected it to be a bit longer overall, more the size of a standard dandy brush. The number of teeth is good, but I think if they were further apart theyâd be just as effective, bit easier to clean. The stiffness of the teeth is good as well, but a little more flexibility (which may come with frequent use and warmer weather) would make this brush more effective. My mare is not a sensitive skinned horse, but this brush is a bit stiff to use on her face. Since sheâs a mud-puppy, I have to scrape mud off her face frequently. I bought this to replace my lost ZoomGroom dog brush. I was hoping for a more horse-sized version of this, but this doesnât quite fit the bill. Overall, I would recommend this brush but I think it could stand some improvements.

My 2 furries need this curry
This curry brush is superior to so many others before it & that ended up in the recycler because they fell apart! Excellent quality. Oversized when compared to so many others. Comfortable to hold. Cleaning is as easy as using a vacuum wand to suck the hair out of the brush. Highly recommend!

Great brush! My horse really enjoys getting brushed by it!

Good quality product, but it’s too small : male adult here, Wahl makes a bigger size one of this same curry brush, saw it in a store after the fact … That’s definitely the one you should get.
