Real Stones – Spray with acrylic for wet look
These arrive in a dusty condition in a little plastic bag. The volume is only about 1 cup. I wanted to use the stones in the bottom of a clear vase without any water, and I want them to sparkle. I washed these and let them dry, then I spread them on newspaper and sprayed them on all sides with clear acrylic. This is an outdoor project! The end result is that they look like polished sea glass. Just what I wanted.

After leaving my initial review, I was contacted by the seller asking how to make the situation right. They sent me another package of the stones. By comparison, this package is superior to the original I purchased. The stones are nicely balanced and varied in color, and the majority of the pebbles are smooth. In fact, there were exactly three pieces that were broken or had sharp edges. A huge difference!
Few manufacturers reach out and actually try to improve customer satisfaction . . . this one went above and beyond expectations.

I got these to go in small 1 gallon tank with a betta and it was exactly the right amount. Although the listing says it is 9 of a cup, my bag actually filled a full cup and overflowed a little.
The colors of this is beautiful and it really does look fantastic in the aquarium. My bag contained mostly blue pieces, with not much purple, green or amber as is shown in the picture. Disappointing but not surprising given the randomness of it.
The thing I was most disappointed with was the number of larger chunks in the bag. Although the picture shows the majority of pieces as being small, smooth and rounded, the majority of what I received were flat chips. This creates a less visually pleasing look.

Pretty but not worth the price
The bags are tiny and some of the stones are larger. I bought these to place in the bottom of my 2 gallon tank. There wasnât even enough to cover a single layer. The stones are beautiful nice variation of color. There are better bargains out there for fish tank flooring. Iâd probably need about 4 bags for a nice base. I wouldnât recommend not worth the price.
