Game changer! –
A hedgehog essential
Iâve had my hedgehog for 3 years and Iâve been cleaning his wheel every other day, if not daily. I had the product saved in a list for a while but was skeptical, mainly because I didnât want it to discourage my hedgehog from running at night. I finally bought it to test it out since Iâm moving into an apartment and will no longer have a utility sink to clean his wheel in. This wheel cover was game changing. It was super easy to set up on his wheel and even after several uses, after machine wash it still looks brand new. The wheel has remained spotlessly clean underneath too. AND my hedgehog does not care whatsoever, he still runs per usual every night. This has genuinely saved me so much time and has provided me with an easier way of maintaining a clean cage for my hedgie. I will be purchasing more to have back ups!

Just got my hedgehog yesterday. She wandered her enclosure for awhile and noticed her plastic wheel without the cover atm. Didn’t care about it at all and ignored it for a good while.When I’d set up the cover and placed it back in she noticed it in minutes and immediately got in and started to run in it! She absolutely loves it and has been running a little marathon now lol.The set up is super easy! The velcro is already on the cover and comes with extra velcro just in case. Packaging was also super cute and high quality. Has never slipped off the wheel and fits it perfectly.(Was a worried as her wheel doesn’t have any edges to keep the elastic from slipping off. Read some reviews that apparently had that problem. But at least for size 12 wheels it’s the perfect size.)

Love this!
This is quite literally the best invention known to the hedgehog community. Iâve been using these since May (8 months) and absolutely love them! They Velcro to your wheel and fit perfectly on my hedgies 12 inch wheel. He goes crazy at night time and Iâve never had any issues with the cover coming off, heâs also never gotten his feet caught in the fabric or hurt himself with it. I have about 5 of these that I rotate between, Iâve found that itâs best to change/clean them once a week. You can easily hand wash them, but they can survive in the washer and dryer!

Does not work
I had high hopes for this item based on reviews. I fastened it to my hedgehogs wheel properly and was disappointed the next morning to see that there was poop all over the wheel and the cover and not only that the cover had come loose and was balled up inside the wheel but still attached to the velcro. In other words it wouldn’t stay wrapped around the outer edge. I did this for about 9 days in a row and eventually just took the whole thing off and threw it away. I’m back to just washing out the wheel every night. Very disappointed and annoyed that I wasted my money.

Not for picky hedgehogs
No issues with the sturdiness, quality or performance. Itâs definitely well made. Hedgehogs are particular creatures. Our hedgehog disliked running on his wheel with this covering over it. After a couple of days of protest we gave in and removed it. Will try it again to see if his stance changes lol

Helps with noise and cleanup
Our hedgehog runs on his wheel all night. We could hear his nails and quills tapping on the wheel as he ran. This really reduced the noise and is so easy to clean. It’s very soft and easy to install

This is so simple but it works perfectly, my hedgie susan can without pee on her and i can just pull them off to wash, i bought 4 of them. I couldnt be happier. we have a very large wheel (kaytee giant) and it fits perfectly and does not come off unless i tale it off. VERY HAPPY
