Birds love It
This bird seed looks fresh with no trash or other objects. It has drawn more beautiful woodpeckers who actually eat this seed as well as peanuts. Other birds enjoy it as well. This seed is my favorite to feed them because they enjoy the taste so much.

Birds LOVE this!
Best quality bird seed I have ever gotten. It is non stop bird tv on my feeder cam! I have even seen robins and bluebirds at the feeder which is unusual. It is a bit pricey for a 5lb bag but worth it if you want to rotate in a higher quality seed blend.

Flavor Review?
It was humorous that this had a rating for “Flavor”. I haven’t sampled it but this I do know: The birds here in Alaska really enjoy it. I attract Nuthatches, Steller’s Jays, Woodpeckers, Chickadees, Red Poles, Juncos and probably more that I don’t eknow the names of. Oh yeah, the squirrels clean up the mess. Most of the bird food has an excess of black sunflower seeds which, where I am, the birds don’t touch; they only fling them all over the place to get ’em out of the way. Value for money? I liked it when it was $2.00 cheaper but, that’s another story.

Birds love it!
The chickadees and nuthatches are very happy, and if they are happy, so am I.

Warning – jams some bird feeders!
This is a high quality bird food – full of different kinds of nuts and fruits. I’ve never had any problem with moths or bugs, and it definitely attracts various woodpeckers. My main gripe is that it is so full of nuts that it jams both of my bird feeders (including my super duper I-can’t-believe-I-paid-80-bucks-for-bird-feeder squirrel proof feeder). I used to use this feed at a different house where I could just scatter the seed on my deck. Now I’m at a house where doing that attracts huge flocks of grackles and starlings – without debating the pros and cons of such feathered neighbors you will just have to believe that these flocks bully all the rest of the birds out of my yard…which defeats the purpose of buying expensive “woodpecker” food. So, now I have a 40 lb bag of bird seed that I have to slowly blend in with other seed mixes so that I can actually use it lest I have drooling birds wistfully dreaming about bird seed that they can see and smell in a bird feeder but can’t reach. Or worse – trying to drill holes through my bird feeders! Recommend using a feeder with a simple internal structure with medium to large access ports.

birds loved it
The cardinals, titmouses, Carolina chickadees, nuthatches, gold finches, Downy woodpeckers, red bellied woodpecker were very happy and got first dibs. Crows, grackles, squirrels, my chipmunk cleaned up everything. The assortment of seeds, fruits, nuts, seemed a bit odd at first, but nothing wasted at all.

This is really good bird food – it looks good enought for humans to eat
You can see nuts and fruits – big chunks. Looks nice. And the birds (and squirrels) like it.
