Wild Harvest foraging bird trests
Quality seems good but birds not interested at all in these

Waste of money
My budgie is not the slightest bit interested in even trying this out!

Loved them but destroyed them
I think overall this is a great idea but my green conure these destroyed these in 3 days. She was able to get the food out and then the rest just falls to the bottom of the cage and she wants nothing to do with it. I think that if these were constructed with a lot more treats with several of these plastic things hanging from one hook it would make more sense. These would be way too small for a macaw.

My cockatiels werenât impressed!
I thought these looked so cute and were a great treat for the money. The color was pretty too but my birds didnât go near these.

Great Idea, not in real life
Fantastic idea, both a foraging toy and treat with an edible outside all in one? Had to try it.However, the shell is extremely thick and pretty scratch resistant. My cockatiels have barely made scratches the past two days of them taking turns exploring and biting the opening. It is too thick to actually chip away /bite little by little and get the seed inside. At this point, they just focus on the metal hook to chew on (metal wire and a plastic coating) and whacking it around. The actual seed cluster is different from images. It is a clump of some material with some seeds dotting it. Hard to see in the image but itâs a congealed small ball. Much, much smaller than the actual sphere containing it. Itâs like a hollow bell (what the birds resorted to: knocking it around).Other info: Itâs made in China. No abnormal smell could detect.Overall: again, 2 stars because the idea and image is great. The actual product however is thick and could be much, much better.

Cockatiel won’t touch it…
My cockatiel won’t touch it – poked at it once and that’s about it. She absolutely enjoys most toys and treats i give her and LOVES foraging toys, but not this one!?!Maybe it’s the treat inside? Not sure why, but she avoids this for whatever reason. Not the manufacturer fault, so still gave 4 stars, but I won’t purchase again because it’s essentially just a cage decoration for my bird…

It takes a whileâ¦stick with it.
I have six budgies in a large cage. I put these in the cage for a while before the budgies showed any curiosity. It took about 3 months of it in the cage before one bird went to it and started knowing at it. Soon they all followed and now it is the hit of the cage. Keep trying. It takes them a while to see it as a foraging but once they do you will want them handy.

Great for larger birds
Bought these for our mix of birds. Senegal parrot loved them! Parrotlet and Finches didn’t seem to care for them. They didn’t come with ‘hangers’ , but the top area has a hole to feed rope or metal rings through to hang in thr cage.
