Good quality, easy to clip
We are using these for our dog kennel for two large mastiff / German Shepherd mix pups. They worked well on one of the gates, and I ordered a second set for the second gate. The carabiners are easy to clip anywhere on the chain, and so far, they seem quite secure. Good quality.

Nice for what it is
But it’s lightweight. If an animal slams it with force I doubt it will hold. 99% of the time it’s probably fine. I have this fastening a gate in the cow barn, but it’s the backup for a heavier chain in case the first one gets taken out by a wild heifer.If you use this as a fastener that is not going to be abused by an animal, it’s fine.I do wish it were a little heavier, though.

Disappointing
Good quality chain just a lot smaller links than I thought. I have a 150 pound Boar male goat that will have no problem breaking this. Was going to use this as back up for chains already on gate but don’t know how much it will help. This goat has bent a 2″ pipe that is the top of the gate. I thought this was the one I had ordered before that had bigger links. My error. Maybe I can use them on my more tame goats gates? Good product for small dogs or something like that. Only gave it 3 stars because it said heavy duty chain. To me that is incorrect and should not be stated as such if you take that statement away it gets 4 stars.
