Good Product and Great Customer Support
When I first came across this listing, I was worried that the kit may contain a cheap filter like some other kits, or the items might not be of good quality. Let me tell you: It was SO easy to set up, the filter works surprisingly well, and the light was NOT dim — it actually illuminated the tank. I even bought a second filter from elsewhere thinking that this filter might not be good, and I ended up not using it. This size was perfect for my 1 small fish, and it looks beautiful too. The glass is very clear and not cloudy. The back is a darker color.The lamp/light stopped working about 1 month after I set it up. I contacted their customer support and they sent a new lamp immediately after I showed videos of my lamp flickering. It arrived very quickly and it works like before. The customer support is very friendly and they respond super quick.Something to note is that on the product manual shows that kit was supposed to come with fake plants. It does not. Maybe at one point it did, but not now.Overall very good product and well worth what I paid for it.

Perfect little aquarium that comes with everything you need
Good quality acrylic aquarium with a well designed lid that is customized to work with the included heater, lamp, and filter. Even comes with a stick on thermometer, cleaning kit, and a bag of both rock and sand. The circle cutout on the lid is nice generous size to allow for easy feeding and maintenence without having to remove the full lid. The backside of the tank is nicely tinted dark and the bottom of the tank is padded. The water filter works well provides a nice gentle water flow in the tank. Great first fish tank gift. All that is needed is water conditioner, water, fish, and food.

The tank itself is very nice. The quality of the accessories is questionable. The directions for the filter and how to maintain it do not exist. After about a week and a half the light started to flicker and I saw another review for that same issue. I contacted the manufacturer and was told itâs the power supply problem not the light. Since itâs only a few weeks old I asked if they would send me another power supply even though I assume the same would happen. They told me to use the other slot since itâs a dual supply. The heater plugs into that one so that will not help. I did get a decent dual supply at Best Buy and everything works. Very poor Customer Service. I would not recommend and I hope I donât have any more issues.

Beginnerâs fish tank
Comes with everything you need for a good fish tank setup. I was previously gifted a betta fish which we kept in a bowl that died during a routine water change. My son had been wanting one so i decided to get something of a better quality to house the new fish in. Its not huge which is great but a good size. The construction of the aquarium is solid glass which feels really good. Now i just have to get the fish and its Happy Birthday

Kit doesn’t come with everything.
I recieved the fish tank as a kit and while the tank itself is good and holds water it didn’t come with everything as advertised. I brought this kit specifically because it was advertised that the filter came with an oil skimmer, it did not. I was still able to make the filter usable but I’m very disappointed that it didn’t come as advertised.

Worth it for a beginner tank.
Love almost everything about it, looks nice. Rocks are a decent size but extremely dirty. Lots of washing and scrubbing needed. Surprisingly the sand is enough to have a half inch layer but I added on my own substrate. Filter on the back is extremely quiet and easy to assemble but their barcodes donât work and it came with an extra piece that I donât know what to do with. Their leveling mat is a disappointment though. Itâs the thin white one compared to the black one I got. You will need one as this tank with only water is heavy. Everything in the cleaning set works fine except the fork. Itâs too wide. The light is also bright. The only thing I havenât used yet is the heater. The whole thing hasnât leaked, yet.

not what I had hoped for
while it is a very aesthetically pleasing take, the filter is very finicky and the minute the water level fluctuates it quits working the heater has already stopped working and it was just delivered not even a month ago and I didnât even put it together until a week after that. The plug gets very hot, which is concerning.. overall it is not a tank that I would purchase again. It is the smallest out of seven tanks that I have and did not meet expectations.

Itâs a nice little tank. I donât have any fish in it yet. I plan on using it as a quarantine tank or maybe keep some extra snails etc in it. The little heater it came with wasnât sufficient for the tank where I keep it. My tanks are in a room that isnât heated at night. I live in the north east so I had to get a more powerful heater. The extra heater I purchased is more powerful than most people will need in a tank this size so the one it comes with might be sufficient for your needs. Other than that, Iâm really happy with it.

Love my little tank. Perfect for my fish Dougal. Perfect size for right beside my bed. Love that everything came with it. Did not use the sand or rock too dirty to use. The multi tool is quite useful. Only thing is where does a person get replacement filter material.

This kit could’ve been excellent, but the USB power adapter doesn’t support both the heater and light at the same time. I had to buy a separate powerbar. There was also missing the artificial plant mentioned in the description. Everything else is good quality. Some reviews mention the sand being dirty, but what moron doesn’t know to rinse everything first? In summary, I’m still happy with the purchase, but I’m disappointed with some accessories.
