Fantastic for short haired dogs
Fantastic set of brushes for very short hair dogs.I have one Great Dane with very dense, thick coat that sheds a lot, and one with very slick, thin coat that sheds very little. Using a different combination of brushes from this set does a great job on both of them. Honestly best money Iâve ever spent on dog brushes.

Good for a gift or to keep
The grooming tools are a nice quality. I plan to use them for my horses.The tools are small enough to be used by kids, but not too small for adults. I particularly like the rubber curry – the “bristles” are sturdy enough to get down and remove dirt and loose hair, but not so stiff that they might hurt your animal’s skin. The shedding blade is also easy to handle, and you can adjust the angle to suit your animal’s coat.The one odd thing I found is that the strap for the brush is considerably longer than the strap for the rubber curry (you can see this in the photo). The longer strap isn’t long enough to make the brush unusable, but it’s not as comfortable as the strap on the rubber curry. (Then again, most of my brushes don’t even have straps, so I might just cut the too-long one off.)The set comes in an attractive box, making it suitable for a gift, or even a prize at a small horse show.And the price is good for these 3 items.

Quality Gift for Pet Lovers
I picked this up as a gift for a family member that absolutely loves animals. Unfortunately, they also have everything and I am always stumped for a gift until I found this. The whole package is stylish, neat and clean, and it looks lovely in the box. The brush is manageable for smaller hands and works well on horses and dogs. I can imagine your cat, guinea pig, pet pig, rabbit, any critter would appreciate the feel of this soothing scrub. I think the wooden handles add an air of exclusivity or luxury to the gift and makes a great impression. They loved it, immediately tried it on themselves, and then brought in a whole host of animals to try this out on. I enjoyed the parade of hairy friends that got the salon spa treatment and have seen them continue to use this whole set. Apparently, it is also helping the crew pick up tools and maintain the tack room and area since the tools are not plastic and weather resistant. All in all, everyone and even a few animals are all smiles with this gift pack.

Good for short haired dogs, too small for a horse
In my opinion these are really too small to use on a horse. The bristle brush is 5″ long and only 2 1/2″ wide, the curry is even smaller.I think it is a nice kit if you have a short haired dog though. The bristles on the brush are dense and they work great for getting fine dirt off a short haired dog. This brush is a great finish brush. The curry is pretty soft and good for working up dirt and dandruff that is stuck on the skin. The shedding tool is sharp. Used in one direction without much pressure it could be useful, but in the other direction you would really need to be careful as it’s pretty sharp. The kit comes packaged in a nice gift box. It’s currently priced at $30. which I’m not sure is a good value. The quality seems really nice and it’s very giftable but if you’re on a budget I think you can find a good quality brush for less.

Great but loose
I love to take care of my horses when I go to ride. One of the more important things is having a brush, not only because it looks good but because the horse enjoys it, I think itâs kind of like having your back scratched. These are really nice for that, but I do notice that the handle attachment to the fabric is a little bit less than perfect. The size is fine and works in a small menâs hand. I assume itâll work fine for womenâs hands as well. The only Delta is that I think maybe this will break over, but weâll see.

The size and thickness of the handles are comfortable to hold in my hands. They seem to be a smaller than other horse brushes we own, probably making them ideal for grooming smaller pets. The solid, stained, wood looks really sharp. It comes nicely packaged for gifting, but we are keeping this for ourselves to use at the barn because they do a good job.

This is a nice little gift set with curry, brush and desheding blade. This is more appropriate for youth and pony size as itâs too small for average horse or adult hands. Comes in a nice gift box
