Perfect kit for a desert scene diorama
This kit has a very nice variety of desert bushes/shrubs and cactus. I like how the shrubs/bushes look realistic especially when you add the yellow and red powder to them. The glue that came with the set was surprisingly strong and it dried nice and clear. I was worried it wouldn’t be strong enough to keep the rocks in place and the cactus standing, but it was. The only downside is that the powder is really messy so you might want to put newspaper or something underneath when applying.

My daughter received a B on her project considering it was about creating the display of a desert. The powder substance wasnât as thick as I thought it was. Itâs very thin. The project glue doesnât hold well at all. Trying to get the cactus pieces to stick was very tedious. The material used for the grass was small and thin so you could only make so much grass. Basically everything comes small and thereâs not enough to make a really good display. There was a lot of cactus pieces though. Also, the carriage on the box does NOT come with it. Overall . . Iâll give it a solid 2.5 out of 5 for effort.

My son is in the 1st grade and he had to do a project on kangaroos and their environment. I searched and searched and couldn’t find anything. And then this amazing product popped up on my screen it was exactly what we needed to get a 100 on his project. Just be aware that it does not come with a platform so you have to be creative or just purchase one. For example we just used a small box and colored it to look like sand. The kangaroos was bought separately and it matched perfectly with this product. Not to mention how simple the instructions are. AMAZON WE LOVE YOOUUUUUUðð

Not worth the money
This was much smaller than expected and should have cost $3 with the amount of items given in the kit. Was really displeased with this as I bought it to add to my son’s school project. Had to use it and not return it, but if it wasn’t needed ASAP I would have returned.

Cute project, used for school state float
The kit was smaller that I expected but worked well for a school project and we enjoyed putting it together. We poked holes in the cardboard to stick the little plastic pieces in place.

Use a better glue (super glue or hot glue gun)
Doesnât include sand, which I didnât look carefully enough. Cacti are very simple looking, and hot glue gun or super glue is better to stick them onto the small bases they come with, otherwise the glue included takes too long to dry. I was pleased to find that the glue that came with it dried clear so you canât see it through the scrub brush.Was pleased with the âflowersâ and scrub brush look and even the grass turned out great. Diarama for my daughters 4th grade project complete!
