Durable, great value
I have been treating a horse with white line disease for the past 6 months using these soaking boots, and they have held up with no problem. Given the low price, I did not expect these to last long, but they have been amazing! I definitely recommend using the extra straps to keep them in place. My horse has even stepped on the boot with her opposite foot and yanked the boot out without tearing it. Great product! I highly recommend.

good product
These are the best hoof soaking boots I have come across as a farrier. The straps allow you to keep the boot in place even if they are pawing or slightly moving around. Durable.

GOOD BUT NOT GREAT
THEY ARE EASY TO PUT ON , HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO WRAP THE BUNGEE STRAPS AROUND MULTIPLE TIMES AROUND THE LEG TO SECURE IT , IF YOUR HORSE IS A MOVER I WOULDNT RECCOMEND AS WHN THEY WALK AROUND OR MOVE TOO MUCH THE HOOF DOES NOT STAY ON THE FOAM PAD AND THE BOOT SLIPS , THANKFULLY MINE DIDNT MOVE MUCH BUT HE WAS STILL ABLE TO GET TE BOOT DOWN AND HOOF OFF THE FOAM AND WAS STEPPING ON THE BLUE PART OF THE SOAK BOOT, I DONT SEE THESE LASTING LONG HERE. IF YOU JUST NEED FOR A FEW USES WOULD BE GOOD . HOWEVER IF YOUR LOOKING TO KEEP THESE LONG TERM AND FUTURE USES / FOR DURABILITY . DO NOT RECCOMEND .

easy to use.
These soaking boot are easy to put on and takeoff. Plenty of room for a regular size of horses. Would be too small for a true draft size foot. They stayed on even when my horse took a could of steps in them. I like the extra straps for holding close to the leg. Price point was good.

Not tall enough
Bought a set of these boots to soak my horse’s hooves in CleanTrax as he had white line & a pesky case of thrush. He’s an average sized horse, maybe 15.1-15.2 hands; and these boots definitely did not go over his knees. They reached to the bend in his knees which is a lousy place to try to fasten these boots. I managed to use them to soak his feet because I had to. They could be another 6 to 12 inches taller actually. They are durable, and I didn’t have to worry about them tearing when he moved around. I did my best with the straps and some vet wrap to keep them up (but not very well) & on him for the duration required for the CleanTrax. The foam pads that go in the bottom are kind of worthless too as they don’t stay put. As soon as you put water in the boots the foam pads float up. You can push them down but they pop right back up again. Good luck getting your horse to put his hoof in there just right with the foam pad in there too; the foam pad goes all over the place instead of directly under the hoof as you’d like it to. You also need 4 hands to pour water from a bucket into the boots too. Would likely work better using a hose or something with a spout. Overall, they worked OK, but could be improved upon by making them taller.

Mom approved!
My horse had a small abcess in a back foot, and this boot worked really well! We soaked with warm water and apple cider vinegar. Horse stood quietly and seemed to enjoy the warm water soak. Boot held up great!

Durable, affordable and more convenient than a bucket.
I really like these boots. Iâve never had to use them before so I really have nothing to compare it to except a bucket. I ordered from amazon prime for the two day shipping due to needing to quickly soak an abscess that popped up just below my geldingâs coronary band. The shipping was delayed and I did not receive them until afterwards however, I can use these to combat thrush flare ups or any other abscesses in the future. These boots were larger than I initially expected them to be but seemed to be thickly made. I put my arm in there and it went from my hand almost up to my shoulder. I did not use the foam insert since I was just test soaking and getting my horse accustomed to the boot but they were dense and substantial. The extra velcro straps were good but on my average sized quarter horse, they didnât snug up too much and the boot flopped around a bit with the weight of some liquid in the bottom when he stepped to the side. For a smaller horse or pony, you may want to use some vetwrap to secure. I would not hesitate to recommend these soaking boots. I much prefer them over a bucket. Compared to others price-wise, these are more affordable and you get two boots instead of one for $30 at the local TSC.

do not bother
Flimsy material. The worst thing of all is the straps that are shown are not even attached to the boot !!! Just loose in the package. Not user friendly plan when you are in a bit of a rush holding a boot on an uncooperative horse’s leg. Terrible product honestly. Foot pad floats up. Should also have been sewn or attached to the bottom. Waste of money.

This boot exceeded expectations. It is amazing and really makes soaking abscesses much easier. The additional straps are key to keeping it on. The first time we used it I forgot those at home and I had to keep pulling the boot up as our guy would move around and wiggle his foot out. But with the two extra straps it stays on great even with pawing or dancing around. So far it seems really durable and hoping it’ll last for a long time. The blue colour comes in a double pack, so it’s super nice I have an extra one too. Can’t beat the price point either. Highly recommend!

I didnât like that I only received one pouch where the title mentions it is a pair. In the product photos, noticed thatâs corrected and mentioned itâs only one piece but only after I received the product. Title should be accurate

The boots make soaking a horse’s hoof much easier, lot less mess. Used it twice with no issues. My horse is use to having hoof soak, so stands still when doing so. With this boot I just watch him and attend to other hooves. Product seems durable, price is good. Delivery was quick.

I purchased this product when my horse showed signs of lameness. It is hard to get him to keep his foot submerged in a bucket of water but this product has been wonderful to get his hoof soaked.

My horse had an abscess on her hoof. I put her foot in the boot making sure that the disc was under her foot I then poured warm water with Epsom salts intoThe boot and then used the Velcro straps to tighten it keep the water in. She soaked for about 20 minutes and then I loosened the straps and took each foot out separately one at a time. No problems⦠cleaned them up after and set them out to dryâ¦. the boots are great and were a great price. I think every horse owner needs these boots added to their first aid bag.
