Does the job with ease
This soaking boot actually works and is easy to use. The straps help keep the boot in place. I am using for a foot abscess so I am not filling the boot up with too much water, not sure how it would work if you wanted to soak an entire leg. The bottom of the boot is reinforced and comes with an insert of dense foam that is reasonably sturdy. My mare has a shoe on so she may wear through the foam insert, but it would be easy to fashion a similar insert if you could not purchase a replacement. Highly recommend this product.

Sturdy boots
I use these boots for my 15h Gypsy with a #4 Shoe size they are the best for durability and ease a great value .Iwill always have a pair in the barn. I use them with white lighting .These are a good size for bigger hoof size. Iâm not so sure about a Shire size but they are round at the bottom with removable pad for cleaning boots..I do believe they will hold a # 6 shoe size

Works well but be careful as rips easily
My horse was calm and accepting of the bag but had one episode of reacting to it when I was fumbling to get his foot inside and there were a few little tears half-way up as a result. Still worked for white line soaking and the straps made it secure. Be sure to have feed and a horse friend nearby for maximum serenity while soaking.
