You Have To Properly Assess Their Use
These clips work great for me and one of my tanks with a slide screen. I use 5 of them to prevent the sliding when the tankâs interlocking clips donât fasten. But, thatâs something that you would have to scan and assess like a handyman would. I would not just arbitrarily use these on any tank.Anyway, they work great for me. I use the older, normal clips on for my regular tanks that donât have sliding screens. Good luck to anyone else who buys these. Just know in advance, that without a good assessment, these may not work for your tank situation. As for me theyâre perfect! ðð½

I have bought these be for, I will always buy these clips. They are sturdy AF. They only reason I even bought new ones was cuz I lost one in a move. If you need clips for your cage this is the brand to get.

Does not fit 40g breeder with hinged lid
Says for 30g+, does NOT fit a 40g breeder with a hinged lid unfortunately.They are very lightweight and simplistic. But they’re also really flimsy feeling so I’d be concerned about using them for anything bigger than maybe a gecko.Ultimately ended up returning them. Likely my fault, but I couldn’t find a whole lot on what exactly their limit was and went with the belief that it was indeed for larger tanks.

Horrible Flimsy & Self-Launching Across the Room
These are so flimsy and barely hold onto the lid at all. As I tried to clip these on, they just kept self-launching into the air. So frustrating! Just as I clipped 2 packages around the habitat, our snake poked head up to screen and effortlessly made several clips launched in the air and could have escaped.

My preferred terrarium clip
I used these years ago for a little 20 gallon tank, and decided to buy these for my new 40 gal BP terrarium. I’m using an aqueon tank with a thick metal mesh lid from a pet store and didn’t like all the extra work that comes with other tank clips. I really like the design on these, they are easy to take off. It definitely took work and bending the clip in spots to get them on but they work great after that, and I have no issues getting them on and off again.

Doesnât quite fit the cage
I had to use a hammer and screw driver to pry the the hook part open because it was too narrow to fit the cage frame. I donât feel like it actually holds the top closed either.

I have a 75 gallon breeder tank with a zilla lid. These clips donât fit my lid, at all. Canât get it to latch in the top part because the bend happens too soon. Not very functional in my case but they worked on smaller enclosures I had in the past. Still good quality though
