Great product
I mixed this brick with leftover ReptiBark for my 10 gallon ball python tank, which was due to a first time error in my judgement. The one brick wasn’t working, and the humidity was way too high, so I ended up mixing it up with ReptiBark, and haven’t had a problem since.I now have her in a 40 gallon, but as I like to have extra substrate on hand, I do recommend this.I don’t know that it has a smell- certainly not one of plastic or chemicals, as mentioned before in another review. It kind of reminds me of a forest in the nose sense.I am on some snake groups on Facebook and they all have recommended Reptichip for perfect humidity control, and I do agree with them. This keeps humidity well, and is easy to maintain it by just mixing up the substrate in the tank or dampening it a little.I feel it’s extremely easy to clean, much more economical compared to pet stores, is a well known brand, so I will continue to buy it from here.I do hope that helps others decide whether to get this or go with another product.

Great!
Great for my leopard gecko tank. Has a nice earthy smell and easy to use. Since I need it in a dryer form I placed it in a zip-lock gallon bag with a cup of water and left it for a few hours, worked great and hydrated enough to break up.

Good quality
I really like this coconut fiber for my leopard gecko. Itâs easy to use and has no funny smells. I only use it for his moist hides. He seems to enjoy it also. I was using moss before but it dried out to fast and he didnât seems to like it as much. Also just one brick will Last a long time once you break it up and get it wet a little goes a long way. It can be a little messy but I just handle it over the sink or in the tub so clean up is easy after get it wet .

Exactly what I needed for my hermit crabs
This eco-Earth is exactly what I needed for my hermit crabs. One brick does about a 60 lb bag of sand. I will have to purchase two more bricks because I have a 55 gallon tank but purchasing it in the brick form like this is a lot cheaper and space saving then if I were to have to purchase it in the loose form.

Serves many purpose, humidity, food, enrichment, soil amendment.
We used this to make the back wall of our crabitat. He likes to nibble it and climb on it. We also mixed into his sand to help create the right texture for him to dig down and molt in. Itâs great al holding the humidity too. Want to get more and upgrade the tanks size!

Also helps control humidity by adding water or leaving it get dry. Keeps the tank smelling nice and fresh and not musty.
Been using this in the kidsâ reptile tanks for years and years. Never let you down. About 1/3 of a brick will do a 20 gallon long tank bottom at around 3/4 to 1 inch thick base. Weâve used it with lizards, frogs and now a ball python. When the reptiles eat, including the snake, any bit of this on their food will not harm them. It is very fine and does not seem to get compacted in their digestive system. Also clean up from the reptile is a breeze. Last very long. Also helps control humidity by adding water or leaving it get dry. Keeps the tank smelling nice and fresh and not musty.

Perfect for reptiles
This was great for my leopard gecko but for larger sizes of terrariums you might need 2 bricks.

Bought as a substrate for our toad. Once hydrated, it makes a huge amount of substrate which we bagged up and stored for future vivarium cleans. We will be using this in future.

I love this stuff. Iâve been using it for my snakes forever and one brick is enough to cover the entire bottom of my long 40 gallon terrarium. I personally love the smell when I initially mix it with water .it just smells like really clean dirt if that makes sense? but once itâs actually in the tank you canât smell it at all. I absolutely prefer this to the aspen shavings/other bedding for that reason as well as itâs great ability to help with increasing/maintaining humidity.

I definitely recommend this, it is easy to use and perfect for a tarantula terrarium. The only thing I would say is that this little brick makes A LOT so be sure of how much you need before you soak it!

I mix it 50/50 with some potting soil and top the last 1/4 of my potted plants with the mixture, it helps keep the water inside the pot for longer so I have to water less and don’t have to worry about them when I go away. Highly recommend!
