Great product great value birds like it.
My go to calcium block for my birds. Used this for years. Birds like it, haven’t had any issues. Win win.
Lasts a pretty decent long time. Months, haven’t paid much mind to how long, just notice when it needs to be replaced.
Great and possibly best value for the money I have found.
I use it for my cockatiel, parakeets and finches. Size is good for all. Seems to last well, no crumbling. Easy to attach to the bars with a twist tie embedded in the block.

    Not for my Bird
I regretted this purchase. My bird liked the flavor but became obsessed and ate too much, which I suspect made him sick (kidneys). Also it has red dye. Red dye isn’t healthy for humans or animals. The other thing I found, having bought the green colored vegetable one before this is that I left it in the cage too long. They do have expiration dates, marked on the back of the package. My bird did not care for the green one all that much so by the time I removed it was probably expired by at least a year. My suggestion is to stick with the plain, unflavored block. They will get the calcium they need and help keep the beak trimmed but not to the point of over consuming like the flavored variety.

    Wire cut my birds face
Not sure what happened in the making of this product or why the twist tie was so close to the surface with a bird would chew but my Bird is alone in a cage and I came in the room and her face was all blood I did not know what happened to her until I realized the Bird mineral block was covered in blood so I started shaving through it just a little bit and found the wire where she cut her face, The wire was already showing through by the time I saw it and it was not that far in she is recovering but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else is Bird

I have this in my parrotlets cage and he seems to enjoy it. I don’t know how much of it he’s actually ingesting, but he loves making a mess and chewing it up.
