Great product!
This is a very nice mesh; it feels thick and sturdy, like it will last quite a while. It’s easy to use because it’s cut to fit Zoo Med terrariums and it’s a perfect middle layer between my Hydroballs and fir bark substrate (no more picking Hydroballs out- yay!). I’d recommend this item because of the quality and convenience factor. Yes, you could probably go to a hardware store and buy two or three times more mesh for the same price but with this product you have the peace of mind that it is reptile-safe and it’s already the right size; plus it is made with reptile-owners in mind, which is probably why the quality is so good- to be able to withstand high humidity.

Good Vivarium Mesh
This mesh was a perfect barrier between our clay hydro balls and substrate in the gecko vivarium. It fit well in our 18×18 inch tank, with a little extra to fold over at the edges. Since the extra is covered by substrate, itâs not a problem at all.

Works as it should ! U can probably get some at lows for cheaper but I didnât have to leave the house and didnât have to cut it ! Fits straight in the tank as long as u got the right size tank !

Thin and dainty
Very thin. More mesh like than I expected.

Not a barrier itâs a screen
Not at all what I expected, soil flows through this like a screen on a window. Useless. A barrier keeps soil and gravel separate and allows excess water to drip through not this. It makes muddy slush of my drainage layer. Mud with gravel is end result.
