Beautiful Rust Colored Sand
I ordered this sand for my box turtle, and was thrilled when I received it, however, it is a bit too fine for my turtle, and he became covered with this fine sand. I then ordered different kind of sand to go over the first bag, and it seemed to help, as the grit of the sand was a bit courser than the bag above.

It’s sand
I’ve never had a problem with ZooMed sand, I always rinse mine before using it in my beardies tank. It’s just a bit dusty so the rinse helps with that.Edit: it does take time for it to dry after a rinse so truthfully if you don’t want to bother with it and have a chance to let it settle you don’t need to rinse it at all

Great sand for lizard
The sand is awesome and soft. Only issue is it clumps when it makes contact with water…I know normal sand does as well but this stuff is like cat litter and clumps and stays that way forever.

Small Rock-like Pieces
Itâs good but I found that there are a lot of small pieces of rocks or grain-like pieces that canât be sifted because theyâre so small but overall good product. A bit expensive though

Sand for my beardie
I bought this sand to mix in with other media to make a (hopefully) natural substrate for my bearded dragon. It is a nice reddish color. My bag had a small hole in it and a little poured into the shipping box but this is no reflection on the product itself. I would purchase again.

RODENT OWNERS
Sand is safe for reptiles not rodents just an FYIPlease do NOT use for a rodents as this contains calcium & with that being said. They have very sensitive skin, and Respiratory systems. This sand will cause major health issues

Perfect for my hamster
We use this sand for my hamsters sand box. She loves to give herself a sand bath, and she also uses it to potty! It doesnât give off much dust which is important when you have a hamster playing in it.

Beau sable mais attention les sacs sont souvent percés

Used for my Syrian Hamster, as dust for small animals usually ends up harmful… He loves digging in it and bathing. Used for about 2 weeks now and the hamster is not sneezing and not displaying any sings of discomfort. Before use, I baked it in the oven and let it cool. 🙂 Definitely worth it!
