That’s exactly what happened to a dog owner in Washington. Something in her kitchen wasn’t quite right, and she couldn’t figure out the cause. What she eventually discovered was both hilarious and unexpected—and it all had to do with her clever pup, Darrel.
A Broken Dishwasher… Or So They Thought
Hailey Adair, Darrel’s owner, began to notice that her dishwasher wasn’t working the way it should. It had been acting up for days, and she was about ready to call a repairman. But then one ordinary day, while walking into her kitchen, she saw something that made it all clear.
Her dog, Darrel, had been sneakily flipping the dishwasher’s magnetic sign from “dirty” to “clean.” No one noticed it at first, but he had been doing it for a while—and quite consistently too! With all that curiosity and energy, it’s no wonder he wanted to try his paw at “helping” with the dishes. Hailey had taught him how the dishwasher worked, but only with supervision.
